Detroit sportswriter, author, playwright and musician Mitch Albom is at it again, this time with help from some Lansing and Michigan State University folks.

He’s partnered with his brother, Peter Albom, to create “Hockey—the Musical” which is getting a five-week run at Detroit’s City Theatre on May 19. It’s a 90-minute comedy on ice.

“We keep saying it is like Spamalot with hockey sticks,” said Mitch Albom. “Hockey on its own is incredibly funny.”
