Hockeytown is, of course, the rightful place for the premiere of “Hockey — The Musical,” Mitch Albom’s slapstick (pun intended) celebration of the game through the eyes of five crazed fans who any Red Wings devotee can identify with. Directed by Albom’s brother, Peter, the show runs through June 19 at Detroit’s City Theatre, 2301 Woodward Ave. Tickets are $39.50. Call 313-471-3400 or visit olympiaentertainment.com.
